This lush, calming, and natural setting on two and a half acres next to Sinclair Inlet is a glorious wedding venue.  With large stones, tall cathedral-like trees and snags, rhododendrons, evergreens, and exotic bonsai visible everywhere, the garden path lies along the inlet and surrounds a freshwater pond and waterfall.  A favorite choice for ceremonies is the intimate grassy area next to the water.

Wedding and Reception

Bonsai Garden                  4 Hours Only     10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.     Additional time $50/hour

  • Up to 50 people $ 400

  • 51 to 100 people:     $  800

To reserve your date a non-refundable deposit of half the full rental charge may be paid by check, cash, or credit card.  Balance of the rental charge is due 30 days prior to the event.   A $300 damage deposit shall be paid separately at that time and held until after event.

Insurance
A certificate of insurance must be provided to management no less than two weeks prior to the event.  Insurance may be obtained either through your homeowners’ policy, or an event insurance company such as Wedsafe® or Private Event Insurance™.

Rehearsals
Either Garden is available for a 2-hour rehearsal, at no charge, on a date and time arranged with management.

Event Information
Event organizer must supply to management, no less than two weeks prior to event date, information including the number of people in the wedding party, the event/decoration set-up plan, names of vendors and size(s) of vehicles each will use.  More information may be requested at that time.
 
Vendors
Deliveries, set-ups, break-downs and pick-ups must take place during the allotted event time.  Vendor deliveries and set-ups a day prior to the event may be arranged with management, if that date is available, however since Elandan Gardens is not a secured site, management will not be held responsible for items left overnight.

 Catering
A banquet license must be provided to management no less than two weeks prior to the event.  The food provider is responsible for set-up, break-down and clean-up of their area.

Parking
Parking for more than 20 guests shall be available only in area(s) designated by management.  Attendants and/or directional signs guiding drivers to Parking area(s) shall be the responsibility of the event organizer and in place one hour prior to event time.  Elandan Gardens will not be held responsible for theft from, or damage to any vehicle brought onto the property.

Alcohol
No alcohol shall be consumed on the property without a Banquet license which must be displayed before the start of the event (available online at http://www.liq.wa.gov/licensing/banquet-permits).
Alcohol shall be served by a licensed bartender only during the event, only from one location, and
 only when food has been made available for guests.  Proof of legal drinking age is required for guests being served alcohol.
Consumption of alcohol outside the event Garden is prohibited.
Serving of alcohol must cease 15 minutes before the end of the event, and the serving station must be closed with all alcohol capped/ corked or untapped and secured.

Store Restroom/Portable Toilets

  • Up to 20 people       A $5 per guest charge for use of the store restroom shall be paid prior to event time.  There is no charge for the wedding party.  Rental of a portable toilet is optional.

  • 21 to 50 people         Rental of portable toilet(s) is preferred by management or you may opt to pay a $5 per guest charge for use of the store restroom prior to event time.  There is no charge for the wedding party.

  • Over 50 people         Rental of portable toilet(s) is required.  Placement of toilets shall be at the direction of management. 

Electrical Power
Power outlets are available for vendor use.  Vendors must supply their own power cords.

Smoking
Smoking on Elandan Gardens’ property is not permitted.

Safety
Beach access is strictly prohibited from either Garden.  Well-supervised children are welcome however management will not accept responsibility for their safety.

Damage Deposit
After event is over and all renter clean-up has taken place, management shall determine what damage (if any) has occurred and/or how much time further clean-up will take.  Managements’ charge for clean-up is $90/hour.  Balance of deposit shall be paid to renter by check from management within two weeks of event date.

Trash
Trash receptacles must be provided by the event organizer or vendors, and trash must be disposed of off-site.      

 Elandan Gardens reserves the right to refuse rental of the Gardens to any individual or group.
